Layer Chair
An unusual and striking design made by bending and pinning 14 pre-cut profiles to give ergonomically shaped seating surfaces for comfort. The crest rail is hand carved to give the smooth overall shape.
This chair was created for Natuzzi as part of their Chair Affair exhibition for london design festival 2011.

A traditional cast iron tractor seat mounted on a steam bent ash ‘spring’ in a similar way to how it was originally fitted to the tractor. Currently developing a wooden seat to replace the cast iron one.
